Before You Begin
You will need an NVIDIA API key for cloud inference. NemoClaw uses NVIDIA's inference service to power the AI agent. Obtain your key from https://build.nvidia.com before proceeding.
Getting Started
1. Deploy NemoClaw on an EasyCloudify VPS
Deploy this app from the EasyCloudify Marketplace using a VPS that meets the minimum requirements above.
2. Connect to Your VPS
ssh root@your-vps-ip
3. Complete the Interactive Onboarding
The NemoClaw onboarding script launches automatically on your first login. Follow the prompts:
- Sandbox Name — enter a name for your sandbox or press Enter to accept the default (
my-assistant). - NVIDIA API Key — paste your NVIDIA API key and press Enter.
- Suggested Presets — when prompted with
Apply suggested presets (pypi, npm)? [Y/n/list], typento accept the defaults, or enter a comma-separated list of specific presets.
4. Connect to Your Sandbox and Launch the TUI
Once onboarding completes, connect to your new assistant and open the OpenClaw Text User Interface:
nemoclaw <sandbox-name> connect
openclaw tui
Replace <sandbox-name> with the name you set during onboarding (e.g., my-assistant).
Troubleshooting
"command not found" after reconnecting via SSH
If you disconnect and reconnect later, nemoclaw or openclaw may not be found because the Node Version Manager (nvm) environment is not loaded automatically in your new shell session. Fix this permanently by appending the nvm initialisation block to your ~/.bashrc:
